Quotes and prices
- Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Quotes given by phone, email or through this website are estimates. They’re based on the information you give us and on stock available at the time.
- Your final price is confirmed once we’ve seen your vehicle. If we find extra work is needed, we’ll explain it and get your go-ahead before doing it.
- Stock and prices can change, so please confirm availability before you come in.
Fitment and your vehicle
- We fit tyres, mags and batteries to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Please tell us about any existing damage or problems with your vehicle when you drop it off.
- Please re-check wheel nut tightness after the first 50–100 km on newly fitted wheels. Any tyre shop will do this, or pop in and we’ll check it for you.
- We can’t accept responsibility for parts or tyres you supply yourself, or for problems caused by existing wear or damage to your vehicle.
- Unless you ask to keep them, we’ll dispose of your old tyres and batteries responsibly.
- Please collect your vehicle within trading hours on the day the work is done. We take care of vehicles in our workshop, but valuables left inside are at your own risk.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is done, before your vehicle is released. Please ask us which payment methods we accept when you book.
Warranties
- Products: tyres, mags and batteries carry the manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, because you’ll need it for any warranty claim.
- Defects: under the Consumer Protection Act, faulty goods can be returned within six months for a repair, replacement or refund. Services must be done properly and with good-quality parts. If they aren’t, we’ll fix the problem or refund you for the work.
- What isn’t covered: normal wear, punctures and road-hazard damage (such as potholes, kerbs and sharp objects), incorrect tyre pressures, accidents, misuse, and damage caused by work done elsewhere.
Returns and cancellations
- New, unfitted products in their original condition can be returned or exchanged within 7 days with your invoice, at our discretion. Special-order items may not be returnable.
- Tyres and mags that have been fitted or driven on can only be returned if they’re faulty.
- You can cancel a booking at any time. Please let us know as early as possible. If we’ve ordered special stock for you, a deposit may be needed and may not be refundable.
- Refunds are paid back using the method you paid with, or by EFT.
24-hour truck breakdown service
Breakdown call-outs are charged according to the distance travelled, the time of day and the work done. We’ll give you an estimate when you call. Response times depend on your location and on traffic and weather conditions.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as loss of income while your vehicle is off the road. Our liability for any job is limited to the value of that job.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
